天然的寶石生於大地,而氾濫成災的人造塑膠卻被丟棄於大地,最終永恆不滅的塑膠、寶石,與大地合而為一,誕生出全新的塑膠礦石。兩者天壤之別的永恆特性,相互對比卻也相互呼應,使人們重新思考珍貴的定義。
Natural gems are born from the earth, while the rampant disaster of synthetic plastic is discarded upon the earth. Eventually, the eternal and indestructible plastic and gems merge with the earth, and the new plastic ores are born. The stark contrast in eternal characteristics between the two elements, contrasting with but also echoing each other, prompting people to reconsider the definition of preciousness.
亮麗的時尚高跟鞋結合了大地和寶石,礦石中又混雜了尼龍、聚酯纖維等廢棄塑膠紡織材料,美麗的外型,內部的廢棄塑膠卻象徵時尚產業對環境的汙染。
主體為老舊房屋的斷垣殘壁,竟是塑膠材質構成,與形似發泡劑造型的泥土混合,牆壁中蔓延著繽紛卻老舊的塑膠管線和塑膠建材,一旁與之共存的是繽紛又亮麗的寶石。
